The future for Ley Rubber and for the whole Ley Holdings group is to become more sustainable across the board. This is a tricky one to crack as rubber manufacturing is notorious for the effect it has on our environment. This impact derives primarily from energy consumption, use of raw material, emissions to the air and water and also waste products. We have been researching into how we can make a change to our company and some ideas include machinery to reduce waste products like water waste and rubber scraps to working with global businesses to reduce our carbon footprint.

We are excited to see how we can make a change in the world but we would love to hear your thoughts? What steps are you taking to reduce your carbon footprint?
