We use different techniques dependent on your requirements, to deliver a rubber join that is not only strong, but also long-lasting and resilient. Our processes include.
- Hot Film Vulcanisation – This is a process that uses a combination of heat and pressure to join the ends of profiles thus creating a strong molecular bond.
- Injection Moulding – For complex joins, our injection moulding machine comes to the forefront. The rubber injection moulding process works by significantly heating the rubber and using a very high pressure to inject the rubber compound into a custom designed mould that creates the join. The combination of pressure, temperature and time facilitates the crosslinking of chemical bonds commonly referred to as vulcanization, to create a seamless join where strength is of paramount
importance.
